Reiki Wellness Client Agreement
By purchasing a Reiki session or package, you (“Client”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Nature of Reiki Services
Reiki is a complementary wellness practice that supports relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing. Reiki sessions involve gentle, non-invasive energy work intended to support the body’s natural capacity for balance.
Reiki services are not medical treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or diagnosis, and are not a substitute for professional healthcare.
2. No Medical or Therapeutic Claims
The Client understands that Reiki:
Does not diagnose conditions
Does not prescribe medication or treatment
Does not cure illness or disease
The Client agrees to continue working with licensed medical or mental health professionals as appropriate.
3. Client Responsibility
The Client acknowledges that experiences during Reiki sessions vary from person to person. Results are not guaranteed.
The Client remains fully responsible for their own health decisions, wellbeing, and personal outcomes before, during, and after sessions.
4. Session Structure
Reiki sessions are provided in-person or remotely, as agreed upon at the time of booking.
If the Client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. Sessions are not extended to accommodate late arrivals.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a Reiki session.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are considered forfeited and are not refunded or rescheduled.
6. Emotional or Physical Responses
The Client understands that Reiki may bring about emotional or physical sensations, including relaxation, emotional release, or increased awareness. These experiences are part of the wellness process and vary by individual.
If at any time the Client feels uncomfortable, they agree to communicate this immediately.
7. Payment & Refund Policy
All payments are due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Due to the nature of wellness services, all sales are final and non-refundable once a session or package has been purchased.
8. Confidentiality
All personal information shared during Reiki sessions is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or in cases involving risk of harm to the Client or others.
9. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
The Practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Reiki services if boundaries are not respected or if the service is no longer appropriate for the Client’s needs.
No refunds will be issued for services already provided or purchased.
10. Consent & Acknowledgement
By purchasing a Reiki session or package, the Client confirms that they:
Have read and understood this agreement
Acknowledge that Reiki is a complementary wellness practice
Agree to these terms voluntarily
Are at least 18 years of age
